  • Review of "H&R Block" at Seward
    ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
    We have gone to H&R Block for over 15 years and other locations have gotten great service. However, we will not do business with Seward H&R Block people ever again. For the following reasons- went there and last few years had tax questions and could never get any answers. In fact I called 10 days ago with a few questions and the gal that answered the phone was going to give Dot the questions and we have never heard back. I had scheduled an appt which I just called and cancelled and the gal that answered did not ask why I was canceling or if I wanted to reschedule, her words were " so I take it you are not going to be rescheduling?" I was polite and didn't give her any indication why I was even canceling and that's what she said to me. Also, prior to this year we had gone to Anne and one year we had writeoffs and she claimed we couldn't write them off, but after we showed her where we were told we could and she checked into it she found out that we could. It's like they don't even know what they are doing. On last note, last year we were going to get charged an enormous amount. When I went in to get our paperwork to take it elsewhere and complained, she dropped of $80. I don't get us having been customers for years why they just couldn't have taken the $80 off in beginning and not charge so outrageously in first place. We are still going to H&R Block, just not the Seward people. Actually, I called the H&R Block where we used to go which is 2 hrs away and she answered all my questions right on the first phone call I made and that is where we will be gong back to.
